Market app on non-supported device

One of the reasons I bought my Acer is so I can install Navionics navigation software on it. As of today they still have not released an official version for tablets but plan to soon. Their support people have said I can install the current version as it works on the one tablet. How do I do this?

Try searching Google for the app. If its in the android market you can either load up the market program or get it from the android market website. If this is not on Android market you will need to go into settings and allow your device to download unauthorized content from outside the android market, but know that you should know the company as you may not know what types of software you are getting.

For me the majority of it didn't work so bleh.

What browser do you have. Im using Maxthon and when I click buy it prompts me to log in so i think it will work but Im not sure. I will check some more.

So I bought and installed the app to my Droid. Is there a way to transfer the API file to my tablet and install? I have used Astro but it doesn't find the API for it. I did notice when it downloaded that it was zipped. Any help for this newbie is appreciated.

I'm not sure that I understand you. Is the API the license. And where is the API located?
On your Sd card?
IF so you go into astro explorer and use the menu at top to move up one. Then select mnt then you need to select SD card External if that is where you have it.

I thought I was looking for the .apk file as that is the install file. I was searching with Astro and another and couldn't locate the file for the app. Must be under a different name?
