Help Market apps randomly uninstalling themselves

I've searched this issue for a while now and while I've found a few threads around the internet explaining a similar problem, none seem to come up with a solution.

I have a rooted Eris that is running xtrSENSE5.0.1.

Once in a while, I will realize that a market app will be missing from my phone entirely. When I open the market, the app will still be listed in "my apps," but the market claims it is uninstalled. I can then install the app from the market again and it works. I'm not sure how often this actually happens, since I only notice when an app that I use often disappears.

Most recently Google Maps (along with all the location apps that come with it) disappeared, along with an app called "Folder Organizer Lite." Reinstalling the apps fixes the problem, and the Folder Organizer app has maintained all settings and data it had before disappearing.

I am wondering if anyone else has come across this problem, and if anyone knows what the cause might be.

Thankfully, I have never had this problem. Sometimes the market will have a limited list of apps listed under My Apps, but the apps remain installed on the phone.

The problem isn't the market's list. The missing apps are no where to be found on the phone. They are, however, listed under My Apps, but they say "free" or "purchased" instead of "installed" as if they had been uninstalled.

I just started to have the same problem this morning. I have Apps listed in my Apps Drawer, but they will not launch and the shortcuts I placed on my home page are now missing???

I just noticed this happening on my lg optimus v running 2.2. After reading a couple of posts about this, it seems to happen after rebooting. I think it was happening mostly with apps that were moved to my sd card. So I simply unmounted, and then remounted the card, and it seems to be getting them back.

I think that moving apps to SD is a common problem area. Google really needs to fix this.

Yeah I don't know what's with the mount and unmount thing as it is. I'm just getting into the the android stuff now. But the funny thing was that I was convinced these apps were uninstalled because when I'd go to the marketplace, they weren't showing up in my apps. So I was downloading them again.
