Root Market Force Close

ok so as of today everytime i download a new app the d/l begins gets to 100% and then force closes... and i have been rooted running quantum 2.7 with gingerbread theme...worked fine then all of a sudden today it stopped...i switched to a different rom and i got an app to work but i flashed back to quantum and it still force closes i dont really want to switch to another rom i got it set up the way i like...any ideas?

Try going Menu>Settings>Apps>Manage Apps and clearing the cache on the Market, Gmail and Talk.

thanks i have tried that as well i keep getting process com.android.vending has stopped unexpectedly...

Have you removed any apps or anything?

When you reflashed Quantum, how did you go about it?

i dont recall uninstalling any apps...but when i reflashed quantum i wiped the cache and dalvik 3x each...

ok have i been doing this all worng lately...i just reloaded quantum and now all the shortcuts apps layout is not htere its like stock dk28 again...but the market does work

no i dont think i have ever wiped the data just dalvik and cache...i must have though right if i lost all my setups and stuff?


nvm Kelmar Thank you for all your help i got some data backed up and so far everything looks good...but real glad ppl like u r here to help

yea i got everything back to normal...luckily i had my back up root and once i had used the correct launcher everything was good to go..the wild thing was this all started cuz ive noticed my battery dying so quickly i use to get 24-30 hrs on stock dk28 ever since i installed the gingerbread theme i barely get 18...so hopefully i can stop messing with it and see what happens quantum rom 2.7 and the GB theme...
