I just rooted last week and have been digging Cyanogenmod. But I've been running either LauncherPro Plus or ADW Launcher EX on top of it. So I figured I'd try an AOSP ROM to see if things would speed up without having either Sense or ADW (the default on Cyanogenmod) running under my launcher of choice.
I just downloaded Lithium Mod in ROM Manager and installed it. Everything went smoothly. I was going to download Titanium from the market to install all of my apps back, but I can't even open the Market - it just force closes. If I go to Manage Applications and clear cache &/or clear data for Market, then the next time I launch it I'll get to the EULA, but it FC's as soon as I accept.
To top it off, there doesn't seem to be a file browser pre-installed in the ROM so I can't even sideload a replacement copy of Vending.apk. I'm sure I could do it via Terminal, but I don't really know linux so I don't want to mess with that.
So, is there anything else for me to try besides just restoring from a previous nandroid backup and starting over in ROM Manager?
