hello everyone
i have an htc hero but there is no market icon in it
can anyone help me to find it or to tell me how to put it on my hero?

If you press the arrow on the bottom left is the icon in the list?? If so, press and hold icon and move it where you want it.
 
i hsd the htc HD2 and it was working perfect i only didnt handle it's size so i chosed the hero which is good by size.
so it is the 1st time i enter the android world which i am totally far from it.
i dont know if i did a mistake by chaging it.
 
here we usually do the same with the htc website but with this one it is saying that there is no rom for my hero after putting the serial. anyway thanks for the help i will try with the vendor.
 
Before consulting the vendor, first we will see if your phone is up-to-date or not. Plz provide the build number in your phone by reaching Settings->About Phone... If it is something 2.73.xxx.xx then you are up-to-date.

i have the exact same problem i have no market icon in my menu

Build Number is 2.73.728.5

anyone know what should i do to solve the problem?!

Not sure if I am picking this up right but it sounds like you have no market on your background.

If so try this press the Plus sign go to shortcut/programs scroll down to market and select that.
