Help Market not automatically updating apps

Am I the only who has apps that aren't automatically updating in the market? I've let Google Maps and the Amazon updates sit in the market for the past day and they haven't automatically updated when I open the market. None of the apps I've selected to automatically update do.

After the recent malware discovery they may have disabled the automatic updates

But I don't work for google so this is pure speculation

My friend went to the Market on his OG Droid and had updates that started automatically as soon as he went to "My Apps" yesterday......

Weird.....amazon and google maps just updated on their own just now, but I still have apps that have updates that aren't automatically updating (Soundhound and Total Equipment Protection apps).
