Market notification not working..

I'm NEVER notified when there is an update. It's not that big of a deal but it would be a really nice feature that worked. My boyfriend (using the moment) gets his notification but I don't understand why I'm not getting any. I do have it set so it would notify my. Also I been having this problem since I got it in November.

I notice that I only get notifications for any updates when I install another app from the market.

The only time I receive notifications that updates are available for my apps is when I'm in the Market manually checking for and applying updates to my apps.

I'm with @treborcj & @sleepyEDB. I only get notifications when I'm already in the Market. A lot of good the notification does me when I'm already downloading the updated!
"Hey, by the way. While you're downloading an app or an update, we just thought we'd let you know there's an update available for your apps." WOW, that helps!
