Root Market Problems

I'm not sure what's going on. After I re-rooted my Evo, flashed a new ROM, etc., I went to download several of the apps I wanted. Now, all of a sudden my market is not downloading anything. Weirdest thing I've seen yet on my Evo and it has me baffled. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it?

Thanks!

Your not the only one some times mine does it to and i just wait awhile and it magically fixes it self idk why it does that but it does.

I flashed Miks 4.5 ROM which I had used before and loved. It never gave me any problems. I'm currently using the stock kernal.

What exactly is wiped when one wipes the Dalvik-cache?

It will wipe the Dalvik-cache and Cache patritions. Sometimes there is data that is written there that can cause issues with apps. For that reason, whenever you flash a .zip file, it is a good idea to wipe this to avoid issues. After wiping and flashing, the first boot will re-write both of these partitions with current information. As far as what is actually stored in these partitions, I am still learning that myself. :D

Yeah I've had this problem as well before. Like it will start to download and then just disappear real quick.

Well, the problem is now fixed! You're actually supposed to wipe cache which I did and it worked. I'll have to remember this for future reference. :)
