Root market question....

Since moving my apps to sd, they no longer show up in "my apps" on market and therefore never show as needing an update when its available..

is there any way to get around this other than to move them back to the phone periodicaly....

thanx

(rom:- F1 gingerbread v3)

right couple of things to try..

- clear cache and data of the market in your settings>applications>manage applications, then reboot your phone..

if that doesn't clear it then..

- uninstall a small free app on your phone via your settings>applications>manage applications, then go into the market, find it and reinstall it..

ONE of those methods might work...I literally just had this myself about an hour ago but its fixed now thank god...was annoying the crap out of me..

no problem :) glad I could help..

hell its lucky actually I had the same problem not more than an hour before hand.

I think he doesn't like this F1 ROM at all, since it's a copycat of the DevNull ROM.

Along those lines. Adam g compiled devnul from source to be.compatible with The desire. A true developer. I have been teaching myself to do this and can say It's not easy if you don't.know what you're doing.

Then some kid takes.a devs Rom, runs it through dsixda kitchen (which anyone can do) releases it as a Rom, obtains "recognized developer" status and accepts money for Adam g's work... I don't think its fair

well thats a big kick in the dick....especially as the 'dev' even credits Adam G over on XDA..

Yeah. He credits him sure. He just isn't a developer and has done nothing you or I couldn't do to any rom. Earning money (or asking for it) is low

oic......i've only been rooted just over a week and its the only one i've seen that i've fancied.....any tips for a better one ;-)

Oxygen is the most up to date aosp that's close to what you're on. It's again by Adam g but has more bells and whistles

Seems Google have allowed OEMs/Operators to add their own app channel to the Market. You can still get to My Apps through Menu>My Apps but Vodafone users are now seeing 'Vodafone' on their home screen and I've got 'HTC' on my unbranded Sensation now. Doesn't bother me personally but some people are getting well arsey on the Vodafone forums
