Help Market server error

Okay so after calling AT&T and Samsung both, I am at the end of my rope. My Market will not work. It gives me an error message "Attention: A server error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen". I can use the internet just fine, and my google account syncs properly to my phone. I have done a factory reset, hard reset...does not work. I have cleared the cache of the market. I have searched these threads for help and any solution that I have come across on the Android Forums has not worked for me. Please help

A little more information would be helpful.

Are you connecting via WiFi or 3G? Have you tried clearing both the cache and app data for the Market? Have you restarted your phone?

Do you get the error when you launch the market, when you search or when you try to install something?
 
I am connecting via wifi... But i tried shutting off the wifi and just using the AT&T internet... My area does not have 3G. I have cleared the cache and data to the market, and have reset my phone. I cannot search for anything on the market because as soon as i open the market it gives me "Attention; a server error has occured. Press retry or cancel to return to the previous screen". I never had a problem with the market until i deleted my gmail account to put in my new one... And my new gmail syncs perfectly fine.

Ah. There is a critical piece of info. If you go to menu>settings>accounts and sync, which gmail account do you see? the new on or the old one? There are a couple of apps you have to clear data on to get the old gmail completely gone from your phone, but I don't recall them all. Maybe someone else can help here?
 
well i was experiencing the same problem but i actually found a solution that i'd like to share,
if rebooting doesn't work, your wifi, 3d/4g is working fine, then do a factory reset..

after you do a factory reset make a new google account, yes it may suck but it will work after your create one your market error will go away, when that is done just sync in your old google account with the new one.
 
i've the same problem and when i tried to open the market it gives me ( a server error ) and i've a google account so whats the solution ?
