Root Market Update

There's a new market update out, including a "similar" tab when viewing apps. If you don't see it, running the market fix should make it appear.

You can just go into manage applications and clear cache and data on Market and Market Updater as well. Force close the Market after before starting it back up and accepting the TOS.

That worked for me on CELB 3.7

I guess I would try downloading "Eris Market Fix" from the market and running it; if that doesn't work I'm not sure what else to try.
That's what I did, it worked for me.
The clear cache/data force close bit didn't work - it could be a didn't hold my mouth right. :)

Doing a nand backup now and then will test "Eris Market Fix Free" on xtrSense...will post results.

Did the update and cleared cache, but don't see any difference. What exactly am I supposed to see again?!

I thought I read that it works for 2.1, maybe not?!

I rooted in place on 2.1 and the Eris Market Fix worked for me. It just adds an extra tab when you click on an application to see the description which lists other apps that are related to that one. I'm glad to see this added to the market.

I see the "similar" tab but as far as the New Market home screen and menu screen, they are the same. Does anyone know when we can expect the new Market rollout with the new home screen and menu that includes "My Apps" instead of "Downloads" et cetera..

It's supposed to be rolling out. I'm not sure that I am too eager to get it - 15 minutes application tryout rather than 24 hours? Really?
