Market Won't Update

So after having my previous phone stolen, I did an insurance claim and got a replacement. Immediately I updated it to 2.2, and set up my screens. One thing I cannot get to work is the market will not update. It is the old style silver bar on top. I have tried everything, even done the recommended leaving the market open for a long time. Any help?

What I did....which you probably have done already, is go into manage applications and clicked on Market...& then cleared data or cache or w/e it says. Went back into the app & it was updated.
