I was doing the s-off and I was on midnight rom so it did a back up of that. Then I realized i needed to be on stock ruu rom. So I installed to that, during s-off it froze and I flashed my old images to my phone now I'm stuck on the boot screen.. Any ideas on what to do?

have you tried taking your slammer and drawing out a circle around the phone 3 times, then tapping the top before releasing the slammer into the tower of pogs?

I got it fixed, I managed to boot into bootloader and install the rom.. But I can't get s-off. Its annoying.

Perseverance will pay off for you and you'll end up looking back on it with amusement when you finally get it.

Watch the video. Perform the s-off trick exactly as shown in the video. Quick tap, wait 2 full seconds, and hold. It'll go through

I don't even get promoted to do it. IT goes <1/45> counts up to 45 says device cannot be found. I ahve the drivers installed. When my phone is plugged in and RUNNING it comes up as my HTC in device manager. But when I'm in the arrow screen for the s-off it says my phone isn't connected. Which driver is that?

usb debugging turned on?

I thought I read 1.5 seconds in there somewhere... anyway I translated that to 1/4 seconds and counted to 6 fast in my head between taps, got it on my first try on one phone and second try on another.

I would definately uninstall it. If I remember correctly when I uninstalled it had to shut down other software so I think it launches more than one process or service when it is installed.

Did not work. Still get the cannot find driver issue. Which is strange cus On my computer when my phone is on stand-by it says My HTC but when its on the bear loading screen it doesn't show up..

If you have to try reinstalling htc sync and then uninstall it, the problem that it creates is it installs multiple sets of drivers and if you then don't uninstall it when controlbear runs the wrong set of drivers get loaded. While the easiest way is to use htc sync to get all of the drivers you can also just do a standalone install of the htc diag drivers separately.
