MB/heatsink question

Just got these to build a new rig and like a dumb *ss didn't realize cpu didn't come with heatsink/fan. Any advice on what to get? Would like to find one specifically for the cpu i got but really will be fine with whatever works/is cheapest. Not gonna be OC or anything. Any help/links would be appreciated

Perhaps choose a compatible CPU that does come w/ a heatsink? See if you like the one I posted below. I'm not really too familiar with AMD since I've only built Intel rigs but from what I've read this one should work.

Unfortunately already got everything else in the mail. For the price i usually lean towards amd myself. The one you linked is the cpu i will be getting when i build a rig for myself. Gonna sell the one i'm working on now so don't wanna have to wait, plus the phenom II 945 was only 95 bucks.

Thanks pryo, all i been able to find is the ones that look like their standing on their side, i don't like how they fit in the case i got here. Prolly gonna go for the last one in those results. Good looking out

it was....thats what i had the rig when i first got it. shows how good the HSF/paste is i later decided to go a dif direction with the OC. lower volts

Still not to shabby.... Was prolly gonna go with the phenom 965 black for my rig if i ever get around to doing it

eh at this point probably worth waiting it out. only a matter of time before AMD goes to hyper threading and they're pretty good about sticking to socket types...yay!
