Help Mcc_ota

[gidget]

does anyone know what MCC_OTA is? i can't find reference to it anywhere. it's always running for me, show up in task killer (no, i am not killing tasks! i use it to see what's running when i'm trying to figure out if something i downloaded is causing my battery to drain, which seems to be happening right now). i am just curious, don't know what it does. thanks!

I think it is an OTA request program or an OTA manager program. I bounced around XDA and other forums but couldnt quite pinpoint its purpose. Post back if you figure it out, could be useful to others.

I would also like to know what this is and why its running all the time.
