Root md5's

i have saved a backup here and there. then i made a change and then went to restore a backup and it says the md5 mismatch( on all backups that i have). so i delete all and then copy all of them from cp(which i save as soon as make backup) back to sd card and now all fine and restore no problems. and then can restore and backup for the next month or so multiple times and no problems. and then one day no backup will work. just happened today, so reminded me about it again. have tried odin back to beggining and all reinstalls of cwm ect... no biggy but anybody have a clue?????????? WEIRD!!!!!

good!!! this is like the 3 time in a year and a half it's happened to me out of the clear blue????? oh well, have odined back and reloaded everything from time to time still out of clear blue it happens. i always have a way to get back up and running.

Happened to me once after moving it from my phone to computer then back to phone. Think there was a hidden file in the folder for journalizing.

ohhhh!! yeh i always copy to cp and then use off of phone and when won't work copy from cp to phone and haven't had a problem that way yet (knock on wood or something). still, wierd. gettin by though.

wired huh??? i just erased them from sd and then took from pc(which are the same original backups from cwm) and put back on phone and works great. might last months then out of clear blue happens again. was yours like that ?????
i also have dropbox and keep one or two that are up to date incase needed. only works if can access it though.

Yeah mine just happened today actually. First time for me. Just glad i keep backups

LOL!! @ RTL, but yeah cwhatever, as long as you don't have any spaces or /s in your backup folder name you should be good, that's one of the reasons for the md5 mismatch errors...
