Root Me Again :) Help with unrooting

Okay, I want to unroot my Htc Droid Incredible but I want to keep the 4.08.615.15 update because it was getting annoying! The only reason I rooted was to download that OTA update and stop getting that notification. I also might send it back to Verizon for some hardware issues within the phone. Thanks!

If you are just returning the phone for a new(refurb)one, you can just follow the directions here:

However that method will leave you with an older software than what is currently on the phone and also completely wipes the phone. The phone would prompt you to install the update again though. But doesn't matter what version of the stock software it's running when you return it.

If you plan on keeping the phone, but don't want the ability of root access for some reason, you can download voodoo OTA root keeper in the play store. Which can unroot and root the phone with the push of a button.
Other than that,
**optional if not returning the phone(also highly advised against if not returning)** you would need to flash the s-on file in recovery.

Then you would have to remove superuser from the system folder, then flash the stock recovery from hboot.
