Hello, My name is Tyra. Two months ago, I bought a phone from Verizon. They gave me a Google account, & password. I don't have or know what my password is, & I've tried everything to recover it! Anyone know how to just get straight to the point, so I can make or recover my password?!thank you!

Welcome to Android Forums Tyra! I didn't know Verizon gave out google accounts and passwords. When you initially set up your phone you would have had to create an account and password. I'm not familiar recovering a password but someone else will chime in that does.

If you don't have an alternate email linked to that account for recovery, I'm not sure what you'd do...

Have you used / invested anything in the Google account, like Gmail, etc. that contains things that you care about?

If not, I could think you could simply sign-up for a new Google account and link that to your phone (i.e., Settings -> Accounts -> Add account).

I know that there are also ways to help you recover your accounts by linking them to another email account (non-Gmail, I believe). This is probably a setup option when you create the account or somewhere in the settings / options--a good idea to help you be able recover the password for the lost account (you didn't do this for the first one, I'm presuming?).

Hope that helps... I know its not perfect, but at least it'll allow you to start using Google services again.
