So Media is just a glorified iTunes store for video?

I thought it was going to be a better media player. My fault for not looking into it i guess.

still @ $2.99 to watch a tv show this will stay burried in my appdrawer.

Same price for a show on the iTunes store.... but you can play those movies on your computer or other device you manage to move the files to.

I'm not sure how the media hub stores the files on your phone yet... so I can't say much. But it does sound overpriced.... and I make a decent bit of money.

Also, it looks like it's rather lacking in content as far as tv shows go...

for 99 cents i might be willing to watch some tosh.0. i have n need to own the show though movies maybe. but they should give us a rental option on half hour shows.

How is the quality?

<rage>I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE UPDATE! </rage>

I would expect HD quality for these prices. $3 will get you a standard def and high def version of whatever you purchase on Itunes.... and if I recall currently, I can move those movies to my android phone and watch them just fine. It's not as convenient... but I won't pay for anything < 480p.

Reading through the fine print when opening the Media Hub, it appears as though the user has 30 days to view the content after purchasing but only 24 HOURS to watch the content after starting it.

I'm glad I'm rooted and can delete that app!

How exactly can you move iTunes video content to an Android phone? I have numerous digital copies of movies in iTunes (that came with the DVD/BD purchase) and have tried quite a few ways to get them to the phone, but all cost $30 minimum, and one I still could not get the aspect right on their free sample limited to a minute of conversion.

BTW, agree that the Media Hub is a big disappointment - prices are way out of line.

Thanks,
