Media Playing through Bluetooth?

I was hoping to be able to listen to audio media with my bluetooth headset. I've only tried one podcast player (Mypod) and it doesn't play through bluetooth. The headset does work with the phone.

Is this media player dependent? Is there a work around?

I use the Motorola hd-s9 ( i think thats the model ) work great, good stereo, all the controls work. calls sound good to

The bluetooth device has to support it first. Headsets do not. You can check this yourself by going into the bluetooth settings, and selecting the connected device. Bring up its settings and it should list its services, which do not include AVRCP or A2DP(which are the bluetooth remote control and audio streaming services).

My headphone only supports HSP and HFP. Does that mean it won't work with any media player app on the Vibrant?

I'm only interested in sound, not control of the player.

Your headset only supports handset profile and hands free profile

So no music, sorry. You'll have to buy a supported device for music over bluetooth. And no you can't hack your way around it(err never say never when it comes to hacking, but in the general sense, no).
