Help Media sound on Bluetooth?

I want to listen to my phone's media player using my bluetooth earpiece, mainly for when I'm driving and my wife doesn't want to hear the sound system. I can't wear stereo headphones because of local driving laws. The sound doesn't have to be in stereo, but I do want to hear both left and right channel content. In my testing, I know I can have the bluetooth paided & connected; but the media sound is still coming from the phone's internal speaker only. Suggestions please.

The phone is capable of this, however, if the BT earpiece is only capable of phone audio, then you'll need a new earpiece. I believe it will need to support stereo A2DP bluetooth.

Go into the Bluetooth settings where it remembers the paired devices (connected or not) and press/hold on the earpiece to see if it gives you both options, there should be a checkbox next to both "Phone" and "Media" if the earpiece supports it.

I posted about the same issue today. My Blueant Q1 will not play audio from the phone, though both devices support A2DP.

I had the same problem before.All you need to do is install BTmono it's in the market & it's free.I hope this helps.
