Root Media Volume Too Low?

I've been noticing that my music isn't as loud when I have headphones on. I've tried my same headphones on my old Samsung Admire, and they sound amazing. On my LG Spirit....very low sound (even on max)

Media volume auto lowers when you plug in headphones. Raise it back up. Alternatives, get over ear headphones, or decent I ear headphones. I suggest something with 40-60mm drivers for over ear, higher driver size=louder sound. I can't suggest in ear as I don't use in ear. Get an amp? Fio-e3 is a decently cheap one that definitely boost your sound volume of overear headphones . about 30 percent. (in ear will only distort with such a cheap amp.) or better yet do my "bus combo" (a pair of skull candy hesh ones, sound isn't where I'd want it,-the base is muddy, highs are over hyped and mids are none existent but it does get extra loud with the e3 plugged in, I slapped on an e6 amp and the headphones get sometimes physically painful to listen too)

yeah the volume lowers when you plug into the jack. it's annoying but that's how they have it set up. once I move the volume back up I get great sound, better than the esteem

Or get the Volume+ App.

PowerAmp and Volume+ work great together.

I use eq equalizer app and it works wonders, not to mention stock LG music player has with headphones Dolby and it's own eq settings. I've had no prob with my skull candy basic ear buds
