MediaMonkey + ??

First off id like to say sorry for posting this question if it's already been answered or if this is a tedious question, just im at work, and will have no time after (going on vaca directly after) to figure this out....

A brief history....i used to use iTunes, but being as that i don't have an iPhone or don't need or want one now, it turns out iTunes is a pretty crappy media player when it comes to syncing music to devices other than iPhones...

So lo and behold i tried DoubleTwist....
On the PC it is much too slow for my liking, and can't import/export playlist very easily....i just didn't like its sluggishness...and i have a 3.6quad/8GBRam/Radeon 5870 setup....

So then i tried Winamp....
I absolutely dig it on the phone, gots lots of options and i like the import/export playlist features....one problem? On the PC, no way to find duplicates (that im aware of) and its a bit of a headache to set things up the way you want...i don't mind as im a 'tinkerer' when you got 30GB worth of music...it can get a bit daunting.....

So now i have MediaMonkey on my PC which so far, with the little time ive had it, i absolutely love it, as it imported all my music/playlist from both Winamp and iTunes (which are both deleted off my comp now :) but i still have Winamp on my phone...

Now, my question is:

What is the preferred music player to use on the phone in conjunction with MediaMonkey???

Really im just looking to be able to export/import playlists/music from my phone to the PC (which MediaMonkey lets you do) and playlists which, atm, im not sure how Winamp on my DroidX will cooperate with MM on my PC?? Please help, as i don't want to go on vacation with scattered music ><

Also, will Liberty 1.5 be updated once the new Gingerbread drops?? are they working on it? is there a way to keep up on updates from Liberty??

Been using PowerAmp on my X and like it a lot. There is a trial version and I bought the full version.

But I don't sync. I drag and drop music as I need it and let the media player list it.

Media Monkey for the PC is the best.
