Help "Mediaserver" draining 27% of my battery

Hey guys tried googling but only found 1 other guy asking this question on some other forum. His solution doesn't apply to me though because I don't have this "slacker" app that he did. I'm not really sure which app I have that would fall under this category and can't see to figure out how to get my phone to tell me.

Is there a way to know which apps exactly are draining my battery as "mediaserver" ??

Its difficult to say what app it may actually be, and Im not sure how exactly to find out. But what i do know is, if you use your phone to stream music or video to or from, that media server app applies. Even in the case where you may be playing music over blue tooth to, say, your car stereo.

Are you using any type of media streaming app or doing any listening via blue tooth?

No media streaming since I'm in Canada and all the good stuff is geoblocked (hello pandora). I do however have it set to pair automatically with my car stereo when I'm driving which is about 1.5 hrs per day. I've never set up media sharing with the car though. I'll double check that to be sure though. Can't hurt.

I'd figure it's the dlna app, have you tried force stopping and seeing if the problem remains?

I stream music using both iheart Radio and Pandora for about 2 hrs or so a day. The most I've used is 14% battery. I make sure when done listening to my music, that I go to the Task Manager and end the app.
