Meebo IM

Does meebo IM suck up a lot more battery life than other AIM apps or are they all similar in that nature? I like to be on AIM on my phone all the time.

There was a thread around here somewhere that asked this too, and the majority seemed to believe that yes, Meebo drains your battery pretty quickly.
