Help Memory card not working

Hi my me my mom and dad have the LG esteem. My dad the ordered class 10 32gb microcsd cards for us. Mine works but my dads doesn't. I remember doing something to mine to fix it but I forgot. Can you guys shed some light on this situation. Also we got them from eBay.

PS not relevant at all but HTC flyer with honeycomb is awesome

I heard that Ebay sells bad sdcards and lie about what class they are when i had this problem i had a class 4 then went t radio shake and got a class 10 and all us well so bottom line make sure its a good card that if my input

No everyone has a class 10 mine works fine but his doesn't

no every one dont i believe the most common is a class cuz where live that is all they sell in the stores it took me like 5 days to find one and to find someone that knew what i was talking about every one don't. at least not an external one maybe the one that comes preinstalled is a class 10 but i think that is not what he meant
