Memory cards in N3

I found this at Amazon, a Samsung sdXC 64gb (80/40) that's quite a bit faster write then the $62 one at 70/20! And its only $54.99.

Class 10 UHS-I Grade 1
3D anf Full HD Video Recording
Up to 80MB/s read (UHS-I Interface), Up to 40MB/s write (UHS-I Interface)
Extreme Speed with UHS-I enabled (3x faster then typical micro-SD)

Amazon.com: Samsung Electronics 64GB Pro Extreme Speed (UHS-1) Class 10 Memory Card (MB-SGCGB/AM): Electronics

that's not a micro SD card though. You need to look for micro SD. And this is the fastest I've seen.

Thanks for saving me!!!

I didn't get saved!

I should send you my return shipping bill...
I bought the card you suggested in 3 threads
No biggie, I should've known better than order it
In the morning on the way to work in a semi-sleepy haze

Like I said I should have known better
It was worth it. I really get off on acts of kindness (your offer)
So thanks :)

So I've tried the SD tools to benchmark the UHS-1 Class 10 version of the Sandisk Ultra. I ended up with 9.7MB/s write speed, and 22.7 MB/s on the N3

Does anyone have the samsung PRO? would love to know the speeds of that card. The speeds for this ultra in the N3 are right close to the 30MB/s specs Sandisk lists.

the SD tools apps is used by many, it seemed to crash for me a bit.
You'll need to probably enter /storage/extSdCard as the location, else it will ask you to install some type of file explorer.

So what speeds are you seeing with your pro card. If its really 50 - 60 MB/s..then there is no question I'll go for that. an improvement in write speed would be most welcomes as well.

I have no idea. I'm very up on card speeds in cameras but not phones. I got it because there was some early discussion here and people had been getting problems with other cards in Note 2s and it seemed advisable.

I realised that. The App now crashes a lot as well.

Here are two runs anyway.

It does crash on the N3 a lot, not on my droid bionic. Its only two samples, and while its faster than the sandisk ultra, it would appear that the N3 is not running/using UHS-1 to reach those really high advertised speeds to approach that 60-70Mbp/s
