Memory Cleaner (or something)

First of all, sorry for my bad english. Still, i hope you will understand what's my problem.

In my HTC desire the starting memory was about 100 mb~. I was installing and unistalling lots of apps. Now finally i have apps which all together are 50 mb~ and there's 30 mb~ left. So i have a feeling that all apps leave some information in the phone which now takes 20 mb of my phone's very limited memory. Is there any app or program that would find and delete those info files that takes so much memory?

I hope you will understand my question and help me. Thanks a lot. :)

It means you're not rooted ;)

Rooting is the process of gaining root access to android. Linux superuser permissions.

Not sure if Chronkas question has been answered because I'd like to know the answer also please.

1) do apps that have been removed leave behind debris that take up memory?

2) if this is so, is there a method of finding and removing the debris of uninstalled apps?

Cheers!
