Help Memory & Facebook/FriendStream Sync Problems

Hi, I bought a Wildfire S about a month ago and I'm quite happy with the phone, except for two problems that are driving me up the wall.

1. I can't access Friend Stream or the music player because of memory issues, every time I try to open one of these programs, it says that the phone doesn't have enough memory. I have moved all movable apps to the SD Card, I also downloaded App2SD to ensure I wasn't missing anything and I wasn't. I have close to now texts stored, all caches are cleared regularly as well. Yet, I only have 4 MB of memory left. I don't understand why and what I can possibly do to increase memory. I even downloaded Advanced Task Killer to close apps that are not in use. My question is, how do I increase memory? I can't root the phone because I honestly don't think I possess enough technical knowhow and I wouldn't want to mess anything up.

2. Secondly, I'm having issues with sync. Auto-sync is on, everything is as it should be but Friend Stream won't update, even after I cleared the cache and data. Same with GMail, I can't load any new emails. I was having the reverse problem before: whenever I turned on WiFi, everything would automatically sync, my contacts would lose their Facebook pictures and their pictures would disappear from messages too. Now I have their pictures in the messages, which is great but I can't sync Facebook or Twitter or GMail. Do I need delete my accounts and then add them again? Why am I having this problem? Also, if I do that will Facebook auto-sync whenever WiFi is turned on and make all my contacts lose their pictures? (I really hate that.)

Thank you for all the help. Also, I'm sorry if these questions have been asked already but I checked in the Wildfire S forum and didn't find answers to these questions.

1. There is no real answer to the memory issue and there's not a lot you can do without rooting I'm afraid. You might want to uninstall the Task Killer, that can do more harm than good. It may even improve things too.

2. It's connected to the space issue, if you were to free up a little space, it may work.

Probably not the answers you wanted to hear though, sorry.

I uninstalled Task Killer, it created a little more space but the other apps still won't work.

I just find it frustrating that I'm not storing anything on the internal memory, I'm not saving any excessive data like texts, emails, etc, then what is using all the memory?
