Help Memory issue

Hi.
I bought a Wildfire S in July 2011 but have have been facing memory issues since then. I have a 2 GB micro SD card installed. There is enough memory available on the internal RAM & ROM and enough on the card too. But even then I cannot download apps from the android market. Whenever I try to install it, it throws an error: Insufficient memory available. Please clear some memory.

For eg.: The size of 'Whatsapp' is 4.2MB and I have 285MB RAM & 13 MB of internal storage available(free). My SD card has approx. 600 MB available. But I still cannot install it. It downloads successfully but does not install.

Please can you tell me the resolution to this. I have installed app2sd application but of no use since it is not installed yet.

Please assist. I need it ASAP.

I believe the Wildfire S you can force apps to install to the SD via a command in ADB. You'll need the Android SDK installed before hand & USB Debugging enabled on your handset for it to work.

Try this, see if that works.

Failing that, you'll just have to delete some apps I'm afraid :(.
