Memory Management ???

I was under the assumption that with the new update to 2.1, the applications would now be stored on the memory card, freeing up much of the internal memory.

this doesn't appear to be so.. can anyone shed some light on the subject.


Oh, and where's the speech to text feature.. can't seem to find it, even though it seemed to have downloaded

That's part of 2.2 or 2.1 with root.

That feature will not be released until 2.2. Of course, no one knows if the Eris will ever get (or can even run) 2.2. There are no Android phones that have the capability of saving aps to the SD card (unless they are rooted).
