I followed SUroots and williams tips to put all my apps to my SD card, this allowed me to DL some really big games from gameloft and ea.
asphalt
assasins creed
rf11 real soccer
need for speed
sandstorm....and a few others, plus all the usual apps from the market.

I was under the impression all my apps were now on my sd card but im still getting the memory low notification?

The game files are really big but when i go to manage apps it says rf 11 real football is 21.52MB and sandstorm is 10.21MB but im sure they are bigger than that?(they are on the SD card)
Will some of the games files still be on the phone memory?
Is the 21.52MB for rf11 whats on the phone memory and the rest is on the sd?

The games data is split in two pieces: application and data. The application is stored on internal memory, while data (the largest part) is stored on FAT32 partition of SD card.
I don't know what procedure you have followed: Froyo app2SD? SUroot's A2SD+?.
If the first one, then you need to move all apps to SD card. You may still have a internal storage issues.
If the second one, then you need to move all apps from SD card to internal memory. Note however, that this applies to application and not the data part of the game.

Some of the EA games such as need for speed and sims, they download an additional chunk of data 50MB+ sometimes, and puts that straight onto SD card too. regardless of apps being moved to SD, so these games are a special case.

I went a bit silly when i first got my phone and DL all kinds,i dont suppose the memory low will hurt but i dont like seeing it.
im going to jump in and start reading how to root but i know it will burn my head out.lol.

I just used ES file explorer to back up RF11 and lets golf, then i uninstalled them both.
Just checked and it gave me 21MB back to my phone memory.
So when i go into manage applications the number shown next to the app is the amount of the app that is still on the phones memory......
i.e air attack HD is 24MB,moved it to SD card and it now shows as 536KB......

probably basics for most but quite a revalation for me,ive even learnt how to back up my apps with ES thanks to all the info on here.
