pretty self explanatory.
(making the assumption that you have the money to make a choice and must be one or the other).
 
I would use a truck for hauling things maybe twice a year. I would rather just rent one or borrow when I need and save the gas money.
 
We have an F250 and an F350. The F350 is his baby, the F250 is mine. Seriously? I don't care what he drives, as long as it's what he wants to drive.
 
I don't think you should have a truck unless you have a real need for it. It's a waste of gas and is destroying my planet :)
 
I currently drive a car but my preference (and next vehicle) is a truck.
 
so i guess only men are allowed to have trucks?



i'm a truck girl, well really jeeps. i don't drive one right now as i'm trying to save money on gas though. and i only like real trucks and jeeps. an explorer, murano or whatever is not a truck. and i don't think my hubby would drive a truck anyway, he's not a fan. we also have no need. not that it ever stopped me lol

A friend of mine ordered a 2500 Silverado, with a 500 hp gasoline engine, and 6 speed Allison tranny.. Amazing ride.. It is a sleeper for sure.. He beats corvettes and the like in short runs between stop lights. Folks ask "what the heck do you have in that thing?".. LOL..

F-150 for me. Next is a car but im still keeping the truck. Only thing i would trade the truck in for is a new f-150 raptor. those are sexy
 
We have a truck and a car. The truck, Dodge RAM 1500 SLT, is his. We do a lot of home improvements (a fixer upper :|) that bad boy can haul anything, just sucks when everyone wants us to help move because we have a truck. Our 15 year old is learning to drive it and the truck has faired better can take anything. My little car, which gets phenomenal gas mileage is a great commuter car, is not a good car for my son to learn in, busted a tire when he hit a curb. LOL I would love for my husband to get either another Dodge or Tundra (he works for the company and can get a great deal)
 
imma car guy but I love the International pick up because its so over the top. I would consider an F150 raptor though If I ever end up needing a truck for work or something (highly doubtful)
 
All my family has owned were cars. My mom has an SUV, but the one out of the four we have.

Going from that to the South for school, where a good number of people have real trucks, i.e pickups or full-size SUVs like Suburbans and Excursions (RIP), I have this sudden urge to one day own a truck.

Some may not "need" it, but when you want something you can just toss shit (not literally) into and know that the vehicle can handle it, nothing beats a twin-turbo V10 diesel truck.
 
I've got a black 2007 Chevy Silverado 6.0L VortecMax crew cab with a 6 inch Superlift and 35 inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires. It pumps out ~400 HP with the superchip installed, but gets only about 12.5 mpg

I love my truck, but my dream car is still a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback in royal blue with black stripes, either that or my dad's 1997 Viper with twin turbos

Nice truck..

You named one of my favorite American modern muscle cars in the Viper. I am seriously considering a purchase of a used Viper in the near future.

So, is riding in that twin turbo nice or what? What a sweet sound that engine makes huh? Whoa...
 
I enjoy both my car and my truck. I have an 03 dodge dakota QC and an 00 honda accord coupe.
