realistic.
say same price range in your budget.

I dunno. I really want a truck but that being said, there are some NICE cars I can get in the same price range. I'd venture to say that the cars are a bit more fun to drive but that the trucks are a bit more practical.

6 of one... half dozen of the other.

I would use a truck for hauling things maybe twice a year. I would rather just rent one or borrow when I need and save the gas money.

Exactly my feelings. A truck would be a benefit to me only a couple if times a year at best, and would have several negatives the rest of the time.

Gotta vote car. I live in an apartment, so I don't really have a need for a truck, I would use it to haul things maybe once a year, if that. Otherwise, for the smaller projects I do, I make due with my car (2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS coupe) and the wifes car (2005 Acura RSX). Been getting into making carpeted cat condos, and if I get the 4x4 sheet of OSB cut down into 3 equal peices, I can fit it and several 2x4 studs into my little Subaru. And the wifes RSX can hold even more if you fold the back seat down. Made a big cat toy for my parents (35"x15"x42"), and it fit in the back of the Acura easily. Just because you don't have a truck doesn't mean you can't haul anything! I'd rather have something small and zippy that's fun to drive and gets good gas mileage! Which is why I also have a motorcycle!

What kind of bike?

Anything like mine?

Here it is in my living room..

In observed trials motorcycle culture we call that a "go-faster" bike. You are "go-faster".. :)

and a nice go-faster that bike is... and great photograph too..

Not a very safe bike though, but fast...

JUST KIDDING!!!! JUST KIDDING... hahaaa ..
(making fun of a debate on another thread)

On a closed track, I would have a BLAST on that bike!

we call them crotch rockets and organ doners....

anymore, i guess its best its gone, having a little girl and all.

Here's my ride:

HondaMagna007.jpg

1984 Honda Magna V65. Look and riding position of a cruiser, heart of a sportbike, it was one of the original muscle cruisers. It's an 1100cc V4, watercooled, 4 carbs, 6 speed transmission with shaft drive, and over 90hp at the rear wheel. When it came out in 83, Cycle magazine tested it and clocked it at 0-60 in ~2.9 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 10.9 seconds. Such a fun bike! Did a Saddle Sore 1000 ride on it in August (that's 1000 miles in less than 24 hours), and it ran great. Has around 53k miles on the odometer, too.

Seeing as I have not and will never have enough need to a truck.

I will take a car every time.

I hate feeling my brothers truck rock back and forth.

He is begging to tip that thing sooner or later :/

He drives a chevy colorado thats unmodded.

He isn't a bad driver either.. but, you cut a corner going over 20 and your gunna feel it.

My dads tundra is oversized and doesn't rock like my brothers.. but, it still can't take corners like my yaris.

I want a 370z too. then maybe a 911 if I can ever afford one :D

I'd love to die in bugatti veyron at a reasonable age.

I could die going faster than most people would have ever gone in their life.

Car FTW - I don't need a truck for any of my daily, weekly, or monthly activities.

Plus, when my car is going to be this:

Black-Nissan-GT-R.jpg

You can understand why I don't want a truck. Not even a Lightning.

whoa thats a big picture. The GT-R is a great car to drive but I would never get one as a daily driver, its just not refined enough.
