Help Menu and back buttons

Hi I notice that the menu and back buttons don't illuminate on my tab3.7 Could someone give me an insight on a fix if there's any, also at about 3gb remaining I'm having freezes can I get some information please, thanks.

I don't think mine light up either. I'm not sure if they are supposed to??

I checked with the new Samsung section at Best Buy. The 8" and 10.1" have lighted buttons, but the 7" does not. I bought the 7" anyway. I guess I can learn where they are by touch.

To save some money, I suppose. Not that the LED lights would be expensive, but still...

That isnt right. A tablet is meant to be used while on the couch maybe watching tv or whatever, alot of times in low light conditions. To me at least the illuminated buttons are almost a neccesity.

I have the Tab 3 7.0 and the buttons light up just fine. BUT they will turn off after a short time after using them. I guess to save some battery.

There is also setting to control how much time elapses before buttons shut off.

yeah, I don't have mine turned on now to look or remember exactly where the setting is but its there.

I can't find the setting anywhere.
FYI, I have the LTE model.

its under- settings..display...more settings. (at least on the sgt 3 8.0)

It must be the android version. The sgt 3 8.0 is on 4.2.2

Do you mean tab 3 7? If so then that's because it doesn't have the button back light feature.

It's one of the devices Samsung said would get the update but we just have to wait and see.

Thanks Kage, and you are right I just read a report about devices to get KitKat , it would be cool if Samsung released the update soon.. but yea better later than never, looking forward
