Help Merge Contacts

Hello.
I have a LG Optimus One P500. And I have an irritating situation.
I synced the contacts to facebook. But most people dont leave their phonenumber in their facebook profile- so then I have 2 listings of one person. One with just the phonenumber and one with their facebook info. The question is: Is it possible to merge those two contacts??

Any feedback would be much appriciated.

(sorry for any spelling mistakes- Norwegian born and bred)

Had the same problem - merged one contact then couldn't figure it out again - but alas after playing around with it I have solved the riddle...yay.. so here it goes:

1. select a contact you want to merge with another
2. hit the menu button (bottom left hand side)
3. select edit contact
4. hit the menu button again
5. select join (bottom right merging arrow)
6. select the contact you want to merge with
7. then it shows a little grey box that says "Contacts Joined"
8. you can then join more contacts to the same one by repeating steps 4-7
9. once you have merged the contacts you want tap Done and the Merged cotact will be saved.

Now if you look in your contacts list there should only be one.

I did this :-

My Contacts are synced with Gmail.

I opened my Gmail Contacts. Pulled down the Menu for "Merge Contacts". Selected to Merge them all. Checked if the merge was correct by opening each merged Contact...Then when Gmail synced with my phone, it synced them perfectly.

You can do it one Contact at a time if you want.
