Merging Contacts

Coming from my iPhone, and after my new Evo 4G pulled in all my facebook info, I had quite a few double, triple, and even quadruple contacts. What to do???

When I went to my google apps contact page, I saw that I can merge them there! Very easy to select the contacts, click merge, and then it gives you a preview of the merged info. Hit Save, and Voila! All done!

Also, i am coming from a blackberry, how would i transfer my contacts over?

I'm using google apps on my pc.

And I'm coming from a 3GS, so don't know about the BB side of things.

I backed up my blackberry to outlook, and then outlook to evo...I'll look for the method I used and post it later...

well I think I used magicberry to convert the IPD to a CSV file...then imported it to outlook...then used htc sync to update contacts from outlook...
