Root [Merit] I rooted my zte merit now no multimedia messages

I rooted my zte merit like the post "All things root [zte] merit" said to. Everything on it is running 1000X's better, but now I do not receive any multimedia messages, can anyone help me out here? That's the only downfall is multimedia messages I can still get online, still connect to wifi, still use 3G, just no multimedia messaging. Oh I can send multimedia too I just can't receive them.

I have been messing with the APN settings because I have the same problem.
Did you happen to figure it out?

Ok I fixed mine so here is what i did

Name: Net10
APN: att.mvno
Proxy: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com
Port: 80
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: 62.209.11.33
MMS Port: 80

Also at the bottom it will say APN type you need to put:
default,mms,supl,apps,fota

Go to settings/wireless & networks/mobile networks/access point names push the menu button & new APN.

if all fails get tweakker from the market pick your provider it will auto fix the problem.

Why waste time with a app as easy as it is to just put in the settings. That is the same settings for Strighttalk except you can change the name to Strighttalk if you want. I don't think the name matters tho.

proxy is also different yes the name dont matter. I did say if all fails.

Your right I didn't catch that Straighttalk is 66.208.11.33

Cut me of a slab of that humble pie. I decided to give that app a try just to know what it is about. It changed my settings & wow what a difference. I suggest it. it is quicker & so much easier. I got my settings from the provider but these settings allow the phone to be so much smoother.

Alright so I put that info in and it was working great for like 3 or 4 days, now it's saying I'm not registered to a network I don't understand what's wrong all of a sudden. I can't send messages I can't receive messages I can't call or receive calls.

Odd. I'd check the APNs again. If you have any others delete them.

Ok this is strange as hell, it randomly started working again I have no idea what was going on, I deleted all the other APNs incase it happens again but I dunno any other suggestions if it does do it again? And thank you all so very very very much for all the help especially you kingmt you're ****ing awesome

Not me. I don't know crap about these phones. I'm trying to learn tho.
