Root [Merit] Rooted ZTE Merit. Removed Bloatware Apps. Camera App no longer works.

So I rooted my ZTE Merit rather quickly the other day. It only took around 5-10minutes. Afterwords I decided to remove some of the bloat ware apps that I didn't find useful. Like a typical person in a rush, I didn't make backups.

For some reason though.. My default Camera application stopped working, Even though I am sure I didn't uninstall anything that had to do with the Camera. Clicking "Camera" causes it to instantly Force Crash. However, The default Camcorder Application works perfectly fine. Which is where I am confused.. So I downloaded 3rd party Camera Application and it works fine. Now I am real confused. I'm far from a linux newbie, I figured one of the bloatware applications I removed was a dependency of the Camera Application. No biggie right? So I open my ES File Explorer, Go to the Apps directory and run Camera.apk to reinstall the Camera appplication.. It attempts to re-install but stops rather quickly saying Installing has failed. No errors.

Now I honestly don't mind using a 3rd party camera application, However I can't seem to find one that is adless. If that's the case I'd rather be able to use the default Camera application. All my other default Apps work perfectly fine.. Just the com.andriod.camera is crashing as soon as I tap on it.

Ideas?

Ah figures. I only use the gmail app so I uninstalled the email.apk because I considered it useless bloatware.. Lmao.

Anyways, Say for example I wanted to get Email.apk back, Where would one find these default zte merit apps at? Apparently when you uninstall them, they get erased off your phone completely.

Also Camera ICS most certainly has ads.. So I don't know when the last time you used it was. But they are there, Not always but every once and awhile Camera ICS throws an ad out there.

I'm running Camera ICS+ I've never seen an ad.

Or maybe adblocker is just that good. I never see any ads.

Camera ICS+ is the paid version so of course it's ad-free ;). Camera ICS, however is the freeware version of Camera ICS+ and believe me when I say it has ads. I've managed to get rid of them by using DroidWall and blocking it's internet activity. It's definitely a lot better than the default Camera app so I'm really not that worried anymore about going back to the default anymore.

However, I would still like to know if there's a place to find the default ZTE Merit apps if I ever run into an issue like this again. So.. if anyone knows feel free to let me know. Thanks.
