Root [Merit] rooting merit on apple computer?

I am trying to root my merit, i only have access to an apple. Can anyone provide instructions or a link, i know nothing about applr. Thanks happy turkey day
 
Everything goes fine until the adb remount towards the end. After that it cant find directory or file. Ive tried moving it around but not helping. Jcase root btw. Thanks for any help
 
Yes, when i "push su /system/xbin/su" it says cannot stat su no such file or directory. I am using the regular command prompt, am i supposed to be running from a folder and if so how?
 
Wherever the su file is also it's where you need to run cmd from. So if it is at c/user/john/androud/tools/su then in cmd it should say c/user/john/android/tools>push su /system/xbin/su
 
Ok that helps but havent got it yet. Where is the best place to put it and what command would i use to make it easier? Thanks for the help
 
I cant run a prompt thru the folder and wouldnt know paths there. Ive got it all sitting on desktop but cant get there either
 
GOT IT!!!! thanks man i didnt know that about entering where its coming from before the push. I kind of cheated and just put it in administrator so in the end all i had to was jush adb push etc. Thanks again never would have figures that out without you
