Root [Merit] Settings Keep Getting Changed

My settings keep getting changed. APN, permissions, & so on.

Anyone have a suggestion of how? It happens even if I'm not making changes to the phone. I have deleted the apps that I have read allow the carriers to make changes. I may have missed something tho.

Freeze the Google Play Services apk. Its not an app, in fact, I don't know what it is, Google says its needed to make ROMs, but, I don't make them. But, it downloads to your phone without approval by user, and its always running. It seems more like CID than something that would help. I noticed it was on my phone when Link2sd said it was linking it. Just seems sneaky to me.

I have it frozen. It is a virus to me. I've deleted it but it just comes back. It has more permissions then it should but seems like all the apps do.

From my understanding it is a back door for developers & google.
