Help Message download schedule not working

I don't want my phone downloading messages at night or over the weekends. I have the schedule set to manual for offpeak times, but it seems to ignore the setting. The issue has been present on three phones and continues after a hard reset. Has anyone seen the issue and found a solution? TIA

Why don't you go in and change the days of the week of which the messages will download in your email app? If you have the checkboxes selected for weekends and you do not set up the peak time and off peak time correctly, your phone is going to download the messages daily and nightly. Setting the phone to manual means your email will download whenever you open the app. That doesn't stop the app from downloading daily.

If the settings are changing it probably happens when the phone is restarted. Then the app returns to its default settings.
