Help Message Lagggg :/

Ok so yeh When i load up my texts and open a thread it takes a long time to open it up and then once its up send a message takes a while and then going back takes ages. And Sometimes crashes. Just well yeah theres a lot of lag :/

Any help on trying too fix it ? Like The threads that im opening have about 8000+ ? But like it still lags on threads with only 400 or so messages :/

the larger threads this is definitely an issue. 400 should be fine. I personally limit mine to 500 though.

Although personally I don't like it, you could try using handcent as a replacement message app.

I had similar problems so I set a limit on text messages to 300. I remember reading somewhere that it's a common Android issue.
