Help "Message not sent" error message

Anyone having this problem? It is driving me NUTS sometimes. It does not happen on every message, it is pretty random. I have to resend it 2-3 times before it goes over. This happens even if I have full bar with 3g.
 
Had my first one this afternoon. I was using Handcent and blamed the app (heh)

Hopefully this stays in the rare category. I hit resend and it worked
 
Any updates on this? Mine started doing this last week, and happens ALL the time now. It's EXTREMELY frustrating. I loved this phone the first month I had it, but now I'm always tempted to toss it out of a window.
 
Many "message not sent" error messages are erroneous; the text message has, in fact, been sent.

I've tested this several times when I used to receive that error on another device. I became suspicious of it because I was receiving replies. ;)

I then sent out several messages to my daughter, having told her what I was doing and why. Out of 12 sent in the space of a few minutes, I saw the error come up twice, and yet all twelve messages had arrived on my kid's phone without delay.

This is the one of the biggest irks on the phone for me. Darn annoying.
 
I've checked with my girlfriend (75% of the messages are sent to her while I'm bored at work haha...) and she hasn't received them when they give me the error, and she hasn't received multiples when I choose to re-send.

I thought it may just be between my phone and her phone for some stupid reason, but then I noticed that it happens with everyone. Usually about 15-20% of the time...which when you're sending hundreds a day, is really annoying...
 
Anyone. Also, is this with the latest firmware? I've not come across such error message yet, sent about 130 text messages so far this month.
 
This happened for me with the last version of the firmware, and continued after the most recent update. Usually happens just with plain texts. I don't send attachments often enough to see it happen with them I suppose.

I'm stock, not rooted. Just a plain old phone/data user that texts a LOT.
 
If that were happening on my device I'd be inclined to go into the application manager and clear cache and data both (I'd have to reconfigure the messaging app), after first backing up contacts.

I'd then reboot and see how things went from there.
 
I'm experiencing this problem as well, ridiculously annoying. I haven't had any issues with texts not actually getting through, but every time I send OR receive an sms I get this error. Following the notification takes me to a blank message with a warning dialogue: "Undelivered message."

Anyone found a fix?
