Help Message to Calling

I downloaded the user manual to dropbox so I'd always have it. Searching and reading I can't find this answer/feature.

Motion Gestures - Within the messaging app place phone to ear and it should call that person. It's not working. Is there a setting I missed? I keep placing the phone to my ear and nothing happens.

EDIT: I have motions set to on.

SOLVED........

Settings - Motion (On) - Place your finger on the word motion; a secondary menu will pop up with a bunch of things (Direct call being one of them) that need to be checked off if they aren't already.

This was NOT on page 128 of the manual. Been trying to figure this out for hours.
