Help Messages are Auto-Deleted (help)

I need help, my messages are auto-deleted once it reaches around 1500 messages in the conversation. I used to have two contacts with 3000+ messages, but since I installed Advanced Task Killer and Dr. Battery Saver, all messages around 1500 are skimmed down to 300+. Can anyone help me? :| Thanks.

go to message settings...
uncheck delete old messages....
thats it now your messages will not be deleted...
but increase your text message limit in settings because if message are not deleted automatically when limit is reached then you have to delete it by yourself otherwise you will not be able to receive new messages from that contact...........
