messages still being deleted!

I've had problem before but thought it had gone away when I reset my phone. but last week all my messages had got deleted. luckily I've got sms backup but it's happened again last night and I shouldn't have to keep restoring or backing up my messages! IT's ridiculous. Anyone have any solutions?

I have had the same problem with only one contact though, i get a notification to say i've got a message and when i go to open it, it gets deleted before i can read it

Have you both updated to 2.3.3 yet?

This problem has disappeared for me since I updated, really bloody hope it's not still an issue.
