Messages Wont Delete?

Ive let my messages in one thread go well over a 1000 and when i go to delete the entire thread my phone gets red hot and then freezes? anyone no how to delete the messages without it doing this.! i have to reboot my phone..! thanks..

You could try setting a thread limit. Maybe it will work retrospectively

Set it to delete, and then leave it. Dont press anything once you pressed delete, just leave it for a good hour or too and then turn it off, it should delete then.

I had 3000 texts once and did that and left it deleting for the whole night, and then when they are done place a limit so it deletes 1 message each time it reaches 100
