Help messaging app by default?

Hey guys i like working with hancent sms app cause we can set different notifications for every contact and its allot easier and faster to use..what i think..anyways,is there a way in the s3 to chose a default sms app?im my s2x i was able to ,or because i had go launcher installed..

im surprised that we can't assign notification sound to each contact yet..only ringtones..
