Messaging App

I'm trying to figure out this Messaging app, the stock one with the red mailbox for an icon.

I open it and all it has is my text messaging. I go to message settings and email and social messaging is grayed out, won't let me select them.

How do I add email and what not to it?

He/She is talking about the stock app, when you click o your mailbox, your universal mail, text messages, social networks and other emails (yahoo for me) come up. All mine work, sounds like he may need to sync his social networks and emails. Not sure how to do that, I'll see if I can find directions.

Yes, that appears to be the problem.

When I go into accounts I have google and twitter in there.

I tried to add my work email like the link provided above, but it didn't work. It's not necessary to have, I'd rather not be expected to answer emails while not in the office anyways.

Just thought it might be interesting to open one app and have email, text, and voice mails all on one screen telling me what's new and what not.

No biggie though. Thanks for the help guys. Looks more of a hassle than what I'm interested in.

It was easy for me the first time. After I rooted my phone (yesterday), I'm having a little trouble getting my yahoo account linked back up. I know my username, my password and my real name (was a tough one though) but it wants my account name ( it's listed as Yahoo!)
